Main attraction
Rain shadow (Trans Himalayan) region semi-Tibetan cultural experiences, holy pilgrimage site, Buddhist society, pinnacle sceneries and landscape, stunning mountain views.
Accessibility
Fly to Jomsom from Pokhara, ascend up to Muktinath and back.
The Route
Max. Altitude 3800 m. Muktinath, 5-6 hr. average walking per day trek starts after breakfast, moderate trail.
Best season
Aug. to Mid Dec. and March to May.
Facility
Teahouse lodges, managed by ACAP, one of the best teahouse trails, safe drinking water project.

Vielen Dank für die eindrucksvollen Bilder. Wir werden im April 2009 von Tirkhedhunga Ghorepani Poonhill Tatopani Ghasa Tukuche Jomsom Jharkot Muktinath Kagbeni and back to Pokhara trekken.
